Stickwork

On Labor Day, we went to check out the Patrick Dougherty Stickwork exhibit at Tower Hill Botanical Gardens.  It was a pretty small exhibit but it was really cool and kind of amazing how the artist was able to create such intricate structures that were also incredibly sturdy. There’s a neat video about his process here. After we checked out the exhibit we spent some time exploring the gardens, taking photos of all the things we would love to grow. Of course, I will never remember to go back in my files next year when we are planting but I like to pretend that I will be that organized. 🙂  I wish I had some pictures of Teagan chasing fairies.  She spent pretty much the entire time looking for fairies or capturing dandelion seeds (which turn into fairies). It was a good day. xo
